ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - An Arlington spa has been ordered to stop promoting vitamin infusions as a means of treating or preventing a Coronavirus infection.
The Texas Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission have sent warning letters to Resurgence Wellness which advertised a $99 Vitamin C infusion claiming it can reduce Coronavirus symptoms or even prevent the infection in the first place.
The Texas Attorney General’s office determined the spa was likely violating the state's Deceptive Trade Practices Act, sending a letter threatening fines of up to $260,000.
