"I think it would be great to let businesses take the lead on that and let them announce the cases first. But then we need public health guidance to come in and work with the business to give the customers advice on what steps they should take if they dined there on certain days. Businesses are making their own decisions without all the information. I'm worried it's creating a situation where our most conscientious business owners are being punished while those who are not being as transparent may still have cases."She says opening restaurants to 75% capacity and bars to 50% capacity sends the message that everything is getting better when it's really getting worse.
"The capacity limitations have been meaningless from day one because they weren't enforced and because all of our local law enforcement have been scared to enforce them because of the way the Governor and the Attorney General handled the Shelly Luther situation."
