As Congress continues work on the latest coronavirus assistance package, Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Terrell) told KRLD News he believes a deal can get done in the next week.
Gooden said he anticipates a final compromise bill in the vicinity of $2 trillion, and he is confident it will include another round of individual stimulus checks.
Rep. Gooden discussed the process and talked about President Trump's Wednesday visit to Texas as he talked with KRLD's Chris Sommer.
