Feeling a financial pinch? You're not alone.
A new study by Bankrate.com shows half of U.S. workers did not get a pay increase this year. It's happened despite low unemployment and a reported booming job market.
Bankrate analyst Greg McBride says, "Instead, employers are tending to focus their pay increases on those who have reached performance-based measures that have gotten a promotion or taken on new job responsibilities."
He says only 1 in 4 four workers intend to look for a job in the next year and millennials are more likely to try to find a new position.
