Flower Mound Tanning Salon Employee Charged With 10 Counts Of Making Invasive Recordings

DENTON COUNTY (1080 KRLD)- A former employee of a tanning salon in Flower Mound has been indicted by a Denton County grand jury for making videos of women in tanning rooms.

Karson Landcaster, 21, Lewisville, faces 10 counts of making invasive recordings. He was an employee of the Palm Beach Tan salon on Long Prairie Road in Flower Mound.


A customer noticed a cell phone in a tanning room Dec. 26.

"She had finished tanning and got out to get dressed and she noticed an iPhone sitting on top of the wall and thought that was kind of odd.  So she got dressed and she grabbed the phone and noticed it was recording" said Lt. Shane Jennings, Flower Mound Police.

Jennings said the phone was traced to Landcaster, who made statements to investigators.  There were videos of other women, said Jennings.While Landcaster was indicted for 10 counts, Jennings says there were 11 victims. He said one of the victims did not want to presS charges.
