A Richardson ISD teacher who died this week was due to meet with investigators from the Dallas Police Department as part of a child exploitation investigation. 45-year-old Robert Howard Temple was found dead by Garland Police on Tuesday after failing to show up for the interview with police in Dallas.
Temple had taught at J.J. Pearce High School in the Richardson ISD for the past two years. Dallas Police believe he had been involved in a relationship with a student at another school. They are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with information about Temple to contact Detective Greg Illingworth with the Child Exploitation Unit at 214-671-4215 or Child Abuse Unit Sergeant M.
