DALLAS (KRLD) - The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals today declined to hear the capital murder case of McKinney's Michael Pennington.
He is serving a life prison term for the stabbing death of a woman in her home.
Victim Ledasa Carroll had called police warning that Pennington was trying to break into her home on July 4th, 2016.
By the time police arrived Pennington had broken down the door and stabbed the woman 12 times.
