DALLAS (KRLD) - Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls says inmates are sewing the day away to make face masks for fellow inmates, jail employees and essential county employees during this coronavirus pandemic.
Nehls' says, "Our jail population is a little under 800. We have 360 personnel who work in the jail. We haven't had any of our employees or any inmates test positive for this coronavirus."
He says the inmates like the task. The mask can be washed and reused and they're making around 100 masks a day
