DALLAS (KRLD) - The University of Texas at Austin is working on a plan for online classes just in case the coronavirus threat gets worse.

There are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Austin but UT wants to be prepared just in case.

The university confirms it's putting together a plan to allow the staff to teach all courses online in the event that a student or member of the staff comes down with the virus.  The university is trying to come up with a way to deliver lessons and take exams online, if necessary.

The university says sporting events and concerts on the 40 Acres will continue as normal, for the time being.
