Under Texas law, you can vote by mail if you are 65 years old or older will be out of your home county on election day, or if you claim a disability which is described as a sickness or physical impairment, but you do not have to explain your disability.
Election leaders recommend you get your absentee ballot mailed in early and check with your location election office to make sure your ballot arrives.
Early voting has been extended in Texas thanks to Governor Abbott, so you can cast your ballot in person between October 13th and October 30th.
