38th Annual North Texas Irish Festival

It’s a celebration of all things Irish and Celtic!  Expect three fun-filled days of music, dance, and entertainment.  There’s a kids area, rides, and delicious food and drink.  There’s always something going on, with 13 stages of music and dance.  There’s an animal rescue, horse displays, whiskey tastings, a fun run on Saturday morning, and a Scottish Village where clans and families can reunite.​

North Texas Teen Book Festival

The Irving Public Library puts on this enormous FREE event with book sales, a swag shop, photo booth, and giveaways.  You can get a wristband to do “speed dating with a book.”  There are conversations and book signings with popular authors, panel discussions, and more.

Dallas Filipino Food Festival

The first-ever Dallas Filipino Food Festival will feature around a dozen great vendors serving some of the best flavors of the culture, and selling gifts, trinkets, and apparel.

The American Rodeo

Billed as, “the world’s richest weekend in Western Sports” – THE AMERICAN is a sanctioned event by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, and points earned at The American will count towards NFR qualification. THE AMERICAN invites the top athletes from the PRCA world standings and pits them against underdogs who advance from THE AMERICAN Semi-Finals in Fort Worth. If a nationally ranked athlete wins, the prize is $100,000, but if a qualifier from the Semifinals wins THE AMERICAN, that contestant shares in the $1 million bonus prize money.

One Night of Queen

10th annual Bonne Santé: A Food and Wine Showcase

Description: If you’re looking to get really fancy, the National Kidney Foundation presents this evening showcasing top chefs from not only the Dallas/Fort Worth area but also from around the country. Each chef will prepare signature dishes paired with fine wines. The event will be a mix and mingle affair where guests can sample dishes and wines while enjoying entertainment and a variety of auction items.
