Dallas-based Twisted Root Burger Company has filed bankruptcy papers for several of its North Texas locations.

All nine Twisted Root restaurants remain closed because of the Coronavirus. Now, the company has filed for bankruptcy protection for its stores in Arlington, Carrollton and Coppell.

Co-owner Jason Boso also tells the Dallas Morning News he may file additional Chapter 11 bankruptcy paperwork for the remaining six Twisted Roots unless he can negotiate better rent and food cost terms with vendors and landlords.
