Two Dallas Police Officers Injured In Crash

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Two police officers were hurt in a crash Friday morning in Northeast Dallas.

Dallas police say the officers were waiting at a flashing red light on Yeager Drive at the intersection with Northwest Highway about 5:30 Friday morning.

Police say the officers pulled out and hit another car headed east on Northwest Highway. They say the driver of the other car was passing through a flashing yellow light and had right-of-way.

The two police officers were injured and went to the hospital for evaluation. The driver of the other car was not hurt.

Police closed part of Northwest Highway between Jupiter Road and Garland Road for more than an hour while they investigated.
