Two of the larger hospital systems in North Texas are resuming elective surgeries.
A couple of weeks ago, Texas Health Resources and Medical City Healthcare said they wanted to preserve bed capacity so they suspended the elective procedures voluntarily after observing an upswing in Coronavirus cases across the region.
But with cases falling recently, administrators decided they now have sufficient beds to go around.
