DALLAS (KRLD) - Officials with the University Interscholastic League plan to make a special presentation at halftime of Friday night's football game between Southlake Carroll and Northwest Eaton.
Carroll Senior High will receive the 2018-19 Lone Star Cup for Class 6A. The award, given to one school in each classification, recognizes overall excellence in both athletic and academic competitions sanctioned by the UIL.

Several other North Texas high schools also received the Lone Star Cup for 2018-19. They include Highland Park (5A), Argyle (4A) and Brock (3A). It is the first time four area high schools have been recognized in the same year.
