DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Is it breakfast, a burger or both? Let the debate begin.
Starting at 11 p.m. Monday, Whataburger customers can get their hands on the chain's newest menu item, the Breakfast Burger.
As the name implies, the all-new creation includes helpings of both burger and breakfast. It starts with a beef patty and cheese on a four-inch bun (think Whataburger Jr. size). But the sandwich also includes hash browns, egg, bacon and Whataburger's signature pepper sauce.
In a tongue-in-cheek release, Whataburger officials said, "Whataburger has always prided ourselves on exceptional customer service, and one day we asked ourselves why our customers should have to choose between breakfast and burgers. Breakfast and burgers are so wonderful, we think they should go together. You can have a burger. And it can be breakfast. Or you can have breakfast, and it can be a burger. See what we did there? Cue the Breakfast Burger."
The Whataburger Breakfast Burger is only available from 11 p.m.-11 a.m. The company says it is a limited-time menu item.
