GRAPEVINE (1080 KRLD) - A Midlothian woman now says she was threatened by one of the homeless who are increasingly seeking shelter from the cold at DFW Airport.

The airport's Terminal A is often frequented by dozens, or even hundreds, of homeless on especially cold nights.

This week, Deborah Schwan was arriving at Terminal A when she was accosted by a loud, angry homeless man who called her vulgar names and threatened to kill her.

Schwan tells NBC 5 she told airport workers and DFW Airport police about the incident.

The airport has issued a statement acknowledging the problem and saying they are trying to minimize "disruptions for passengers."
