FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A woman is in the hospital after being struck by two vehicles in east Fort Worth last night.
Just before 10 p.m. Monday the victim, who was walking, was hit by a car on the Loop 820 service road near Randol Mill.
Reports say she continued on her own power and tried to run across the main lanes of 820 and then was struck by another car. That left her with serious injuries.
She was rushed to a local hospital, her condition has not been released.
Investigators can't yet say why she tried to run across the freeway.
Both drivers did stop as required.
