DALLAS (KRLD) - The Gourmet Turkey Keg sold at Academy Sports and Outdoors stores is being recalled due to a possible fire hazard, according to a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice.
The agency says the turkey fryers have a spout that can leak oil and could lead to a fire. The stainless steel fryers use propane for power.
The item number, which can be found on one of the four legs, is 157826.
The recalled fryers were sold at Academy stores, as well as online at www.academy.com from October 2018 through December 2018.
There have not been any reports of injuries or property damage at this time.
If you have one of these fryers, you're urged to immediately stop using it. You can return it to any Academy store for a refund and a $50 store gift card.
