ALEDO (1080 KRLD) - Over 200,000 bees attacked residents in an Aledo neighborhood Saturday morning.

The Mullins family awoke to the sound of their dogs being attacked by swarming bees. Experts estimate that around 200,000 bees had been building a hive inside the walls of the family's home for upwards of three years.

The swarm attacked the Mullins, and then moved down the street terrorizing neighbors before finally being contained by authorities.

Aside from bee stings, no serious injuries were reported, although one of the Mullins' dogs did run away during the attack and has not yet been found.
