HUNT CO. (KRLD) - Police in a small town in Hunt County are looking for the person who has been distributing flyers for the Ku Klux Klan.
Residents started finding the flyers in the town of Wolfe City on Dec. 29.
"This kind of activity is very unsettling to everyone and it was evident in the number of houses we responded to Saturday night," said Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks. The flyers had been placed inside plastic bags, then left in residents front yards and weighed down by rocks. Over 80 of them have been recovered so far.
The Sheriff is urging anyone who finds one of the flyers to contact his office or the Wolfe City Police Department to file a report.
