FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A man is in a Fort Worth hospital after apparently shooting himself accidentally last night, while he was handling a pistol he was thinking about buying.
Police got the 911 call just before 7:00 p.m. and responded to the Ravenwood Apartments near Cooks Lane and Meadowbrook in east Fort Worth.
They found a man bleeding and he was taken to a local hospital to get checked out.
The story police got was the man was approached by another guy who wanted to sell him a pistol. As he inspected it, he shot himself.
It's too early for police to say if anyone is going to be charged with anything.
