Mark Hanna with the Insurance Council of Texas says when it comes to our property, a few household items go a long way in protecting our cars.
Hanna says it would also be good to know where everyone in your family is today as the storms come through, so you know that everyone is safe as can be.
If you do wind up with hail or storm damage, call your agent right away and make sure you take pictures and video of everything because it helps.
