DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Exactly one month after a crane collapse destroyed their apartments, several people are still waiting to move on.
The Elan City Lights apartments are still off limits to people who have been hoping for a chance to go back for their belongings.
Most had time to grab only a few things before the collapse which left one woman dead last month.
Some people say the complex hasn't communicated when they might be allowed back in, and it's been frustrating having to live out of suitcases in the meatime.
Some people also still can't get into their cars as the Elan City Light's garage is off limits too.
Following the collapse, the crane company claimed extreme winds pushed the crane over, and it had been put in safety mode before the storm.
