ALLEN (1080 KRLD) - An overnight shooting in Allen injured a 17-year-old boy.
Police say the unidentified teenager appears to have been drinking alcohol with several others outside an apartment on Jupiter Road about 1:45 a.m.
Police say someone pulled a gun and shot the 17-year-old in the leg. They are still investigating why the gunman might have fired, but they say the shooter ran off.
The teenager was taken to the hospital, but police say the injury was not life-threatening.
Police are still searching for the gunman and looking into how he knew the others at the apartment complex.
