CARTHAGE (KRLD) - A bunch of smoked sausage products are being recalled in Texas.
Panola County Processing in Carthage is voluntarily recalling 59 pounds of smoked sausage items because they could be under processed.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service says the pork smoked sausage links and venison and pork sausage links were produced on January 29. They are in 1.3-pound packages.
The products have EST. 48219 inside the USDA mark of inspection. Federal inspectors discovered a problem on Feb.8. So far, there have been no reports of any illnesses.
The company suggests you throw away the sausage or return it to the store where you bought it. You can find out more information here.
