GRAPEVINE (KRLD) - Officials from a company that makes payroll and human resources software for businesses broke ground on their new office building in Grapevine this week. Paycom Software Inc. will bring 1,000 jobs to its Texas Operations Center along State Highway 121.
The company reached a deal last year with the city for about $5 million in tax incentives to locate the new office in Grapevine.
"An organization of this caliber could have chosen to grow anywhere in the U.S. and we are honored to have been selected," said Bob Farley, Grapevine Director of Economic Development in 2018.
Grapevine Mayor William D. Tate joined company officials at the ceremonial ground-breaking this week. Construction should start this summer and the 150,000 square-foot building should be ready for employees in 2020.
