DALLAS (KRLD) - Rejoice, North Texas vegetarians!
Taco Bell has announced they've chosen to test their brand new vegetarian menu at stores all across the DFW market.
The chain is already known to be vegetarian and vegan-friendly, since they make it easy to customize orders, but this is their first menu specifically geared toward a certain diet.
Taco Bell's new offerings put a vegetarian spin on two favorites, the Quesarito and Crunchwrap Supreme. They trade the beef in those items for black beans. They've also tacked on the existing 7 Layer Burrito to create their vegetarian menu.
If the testing goes well in North Texas, Taco Bell plans to roll out their vegetarian menu nationwide.
