TERRELL (1080 KRLD) - Police in east Texas have 39-year-old Tony Debolt in jail, after a massive drug bust. This happened around 9:15 last night, at a home on Catherine Street.
Several 911 callers said they heard yelling and possibly a gunshot inside the house. However, police found nobody hurt, though the glass in the front door was broken.
Police say Debolt was standing outside, and officers were quick to get a search warrant after they smelled marijuana coming from inside.
Officers found bags of straight marijuana, 10 bags of pot-laced cookies and five pounds of Xanax bars, along with 26 forged checks and a stolen handgun. They also recovered over $2,000 cash.
Debolt is charged with felony possession of a firearm, a stolen firearm, multiple counts of drug possession with intent to sell, and 26 counts of forgery of a financial instrument.
