Investigators say 86 year old Santiago Vasquez from Killeen, Texas and his neighbor 80 year old John Wesley Seth Jr. hadn't been getting along for a while.
Police say on May 30, 2017 that the two got into a fight.
Police say Vasquez knocked Seth to the ground.
They say he struck him with his cane twice and then shot him three times.
Vasquez now faces 14 years in prison.
