FLOWER MOUND (1080 KRLD) - Police in Flower Mound are looking for two teens who escaped from a halfway house.
"At about 5:15 this morning, we had two youth leave out the back door of McFadden Ranch (at 3505 N. Haynes Rd.)," says Brian Sweany, a spokesman with the Texas Department of Juvenile Justice.
The two escapees are identified as Dakota Cox, 18, and Barry Golson, 16.
"Dakota was in for child endangerment, and Barry Golson was in for assault," says Sweany.
Sweany says the two teens left through the back door and split up.
"Barry Golson was believed to be identified on surveillance video at a local 7-Eleven taking a vehicle," says Sweany.
A couple schools in the Northwest ISD were briefly placed on lockdown as police looked for the two.
