GRAPEVINE (1080 KRLD) - Two Grapevine middle schools were evacuated Monday monring after threats were made against the schools, according to police.
Police are investigating who made hoax phone calls the school district, claiming there were bombs in Grapevine Middle School and Cross Timbers Middle School.
Students were immediately evacuated and moving onto buses. Cross Timbers Middle School students were sent to the Mustang Activity Center.
A bomb squad swept the buildings twice, each and nothing was found.
Allison Elliott of the Grapevine Collyville school district says in the end, it was a drill, but everyone did as they were supposed to.
Now, police will try to trace the calls and find out who is behind the hoaxes.
