DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The North Texas family of one of the sailors killed 18 years ago on the USS Cole says the news that the mastermind was killed is a mix of good and bad.

The brother of Timothy Gauna of Ennis says the death of Jamal al-Badawi brings a degree of closure. But Albert Rameriz tells KRLD the news of al-Badawi's death also stirs bad memories of the attack.

The Cole was in a port in Yemen when it was attacked by two suicide bombers. 17-were killed.
