WACO (KRLD) - A New Year's morning fight at a Waco nightclub ended in a man's death.
According to Waco police, Marcus Carprew and another person were arguing in the House of Blues Club after 2 a.m. The fight then moved into the parking lot where Carprew was shot and killed.
Waco Sergeant Patrick Swanton says, "We have a person of interest which basically means we know the other party that was involved." He says they are still trying to determine why the shooting occurred.
No arrests have been made at this point and police are hoping witnesses to the shooting will call in.
