WISE COUNTY (KRLD) - A Wise County man, charged with child abuse for locking his kids in a dog kennel, is out on bail.
Bond for 24-year-old Andrew Fabila was set at $60,000. He was released Tuesday.
Fabila was arrested last week after Wise County sheriff's deputies found 4 kids ages one through five, neglected, malnourished and covered in filth living in an outbuilding in a rural part of the county.
Two of those kids were locked inside a dog crate. Fabiola is the father of one of those children.
The kids' mother, Paige Harkings, remains behind bars charged with child endangerment and aggravated assault.
The children are recovering after being placed in foster care.
