Woman Connected To Lancaster Teen's Murder Gets Four Years In Prison

DALLAS (KRLD) - Dallas Federal Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn has sentenced Lapyrshya Polley to four years in prison for drug and firearm charges.

The case is connected to the 2017 abduction and murder of 13-year old Shavon Randle of Lancaster. Polley asked the judge to go easy on her. But Polley did not apologize to Randle's mother, Shaquna Persley, who was in the courtroom. Persley said it probably wouldn't have mattered.

"It just probably would have made me think that somebody, like she actually cared what she did," said Persley

Those accused of direct involvement in the murder of the teenager are still awaiting trial in State court.
