DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Investigators are trying to identify a body found on the side of the highway early this morning.
Officials say the 23-year-old woman was found just after 4:00 a.m. Monday along the northbound lanes of I-35 near Inwood. Investigators say she was hit by a car which didn't stop.
The woman had been staying at the Marriott Suites across the freeway from where she was found.
Investigators say she was with a friend, and apparently got into a fight with that person. She crossed the freeway once, crossed back over to the hotel, and then crossed a third time, which is when she was hit.
The woman has not been further identified. Investigators are trying to gather a description of the car or suspect involved in the hit and run.
