Baylee Friday is a morning reporter for NewsRadio 1080 KRLD.

An incredibly proud Texan, Baylee has lived in and around DFW for the majority of her life. After graduating from an itty-bitty high school with no official journalism program, Baylee decided to get her bachelor's in broadcast news from the Mayborn School of Journalism at UNT.

During college, Baylee was a reporter and anchor on UNT's student-led television stations, working with both the NTDaily News and NT-TV. She also got the chance to intern in Washington D.C., where she lived on Capitol Hill and worked as a video and productions intern at the Newseum.

Baylee graduated Magna Cum Laude and immediately began working as a newspaper reporter. During that time, Baylee spent the weekends working overnight shifts at KRLD, and was thrilled to eventually join the full-time team as a morning reporter.

Baylee's dream has always been to work as a reporter in Dallas, and she couldn't be happier to be doing the job she loves in the place she calls home.
