You're too tired to cook dinner and don't want to go out to eat... so you pull up your favorite delivery app, only a new study may make you think twice.
According to US Foods, 28 percent of delivery drivers have admitted to sneaking food from a customer's order.
More than half of them said it's the smell of the meal that causes them to cave. Nearly all customers surveyed said they'd be upset if they found out a driver ate some of their food, and 85 percent said they would feel more comfortable if restaurants used tamper-evident labels to address the issue.
The study also revealed the biggest complaint from customers is their food wasn't delivered warm and/or fresh. The biggest complaint from drivers is a weak or no tip.
