The opening of Dallas Cowboys training camp is always among the most highly-anticipated events on the local sports calendar.

Training camp means the annual state-of-the-team address from owner Jerry Jones.

It's fans adorned in blue and silver, watching workouts in the cool, comfortable climate of California and hoping for an autograph or a fist bump from their favorite players.

But this year, there will be none of that.

The 2020 camp for the Cowboys will be held at the team headquarters in Frisco. It will begin not with physical testing, but with coronavirus testing.

Fans will not be permitted for training camp workouts at The Star.

Thanks to COVID-19, this year's training camp will be very different.

105.3 The Fan's Dallas Cowboys Insider Mike Fisher talked about it Tuesday on the KRLD Morning News.
