Social distancing could be with us to stay for a while.
Wello founder Rik Heller, a local expert on infectious diseases, says despite recent positive trends in coronavirus-related data, the worst may still be ahead.
Heller believes COVID-19 will be "seasonal in nature," meaning the U.S. could see another surge of the virus later this year. And unlike with the initial wave of coronavirus, a second round could arrive in conjunction with the start of the traditional flu season.
In the meantime, Heller said the recent COVID-19 trends have been positive, and that the wet, humid weather has been a contributing factor.
