The scheduled start of the Texas High School Football season is less than eight weeks away.
But as COVID-19 continues to dominate daily life, serious questions remain on whether the season will kick off Aug. 29 - or if teams will even be allowed to take the field this fall.
Schools, coaches and players across the state continue to wait for guidance from the University Interscholastic League.
