It looks like rain this morning, but nothing is on radar at this time.  I do expect a few isolated showers or storms today with highs in the low nineties.

Things start to change tonight into tomorrow, as a slow moving cold front stalls along the Red River Valley.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms will break out this afternoon and evening from the Panhandle east towards Oklahoma City. This is where flood watches are in effect through tomorrow.

This slow moving front will edge towards the Red River tomorrow increasing our rain chances. We may even see this complex of storm slide into the area for tomorrow morning's commute.

Things will quiet down through the morning but more scattered showers and storms are possible during the afternoon and evening on Tuesday. High temperatures will struggle to hit 90゚.

There will be some left over scattered storms on Wednesday with highs in the low nineties. A break in the rain Thursday and Friday as we continue to stay below normal on our temperatures.

Right now, the weekend looks partly cloudy hot and humid, with a slight chance for late day storms. Highs will be in the low to mid nineties.

Stay cool, hydrated, and safe.

At or below seasonal temperatures can be expected for this last week of July. There is a chance for isolated to scattered showers & storms each day, especially northern and eastern parts of the region. #dfwwx #ctxwx #txwx pic.twitter.com/7vrD9u9Xwp
