Cloudy Cold and Wet Weather Returns

Enjoy the sun this weekend because by next Tuesday and Wednesday it's gonna get yucky again… and cold!

I don't do outlooks more than 7 days out, but I've got a sneaking suspicion that m November will be below normal on temperatures and above normal on precipitation. Start stocking up on firewood and umbrellas.

Another winter storm possible late Tuesday into Wednesday for the panhandle, but it's too early for that in north TX.

A plain old cold rain for us Tuesday into Wednesday with temperatures a good 25 to 30 degrees below normal. Thursday will be sunny windy and cold for Halloween temperatures in the forties with windy conditions.

After a nice weekend, cold and wet weather will return early to mid next week as another strong low pressure system and cold front move across the Plains. #dfwwx ctxwx #texomawx pic.twitter.com/mvIB5YUU8w

Parts of North Texas Friday morning will experience their 1st freeze of the fall season before a slow warm up returns into next weekend. And then... more cold fronts to come after that!

By the way, this particular weather pattern we've been in and what we will experience the next few weeks, is a perfect set up for ice storms across North Texas. Good news is, its early November. If this were late December, January, or February… we would get nailed. If this type of pattern we are currently in continues, we could have a very wintery winter. Time will tell.
