Cool mornings and warm and dry afternoons are your weather story through Friday.

There's also a slight chance of a few sprinkles today tomorrow and Friday mainly after 5:00 p.m.. However, most of it will not reach the ground because the air is so dry.

Afternoon highs will be near normal with readings in the middle nineties. There will be no  heat index to deal with because of the very dry air that; in place.

A slow increase in humidity and temperatures late into the weekend and in the 1st half of next week. Some areas will reach the upper nineties.

As of now no triple digit heat for the foreseeable future.

Today will be hot and dry with highs mostly in the 90s. Skies will be mostly clear with a north/northeast wind around 10 mph. #dfwwx #ctxwx pic.twitter.com/UXBR8AzvFP
