Some leftover showers linger behind the cold front that continues to press south of DFW at this hour. I can see blue sky to the NW. This line will continue to march SE through the morning, giving way to sunshine before noon for most of you!
Good news for some: It will be cooler today, windy and less humid. A small warm up in the forecast tomorrow and Thursday, and then MUCH cooler weather arrives early Friday, along with some strong to severe storms.
Best news of all? Mother's day weekend will be nice and cool, with more clouds than sun on Sunday.
Stormy weather may return on Monday.
After a wet start for most of us.... the skies will clear from north to south as the day progresses. Breezy conditions, with sustained winds of 15-20 mph & gusts to near 25 mph. Highs will be in the mid-upper 70s, which is about 10-15 deg cooler than yesterday's. #dfwwx #ctxwx pic.twitter.com/sdDRq8wGAg
