Very hot and humid conditions will continue through tomorrow with less wind. There is also a very slim chance for a strong to severe storm, mainly west a highway 281 late this afternoon through midnight. Chances are very slim that one of these isolated cells will creep towards 35W. Large hail and wind are the threats.
Highs today will jump up into the low to mid-nineties with century mark readings west of the dryline.
Isolated storms are possible late this afternoon across our western areas. A couple storms could be strong to severe, so keep an eye on the weather later today. #dfwwx #ctxwx pic.twitter.com/uWarB2Hwrj
— NWS Fort Worth (@NWSFortWorth) May 3, 2020Tomorrow looks uneventful with highs in the nineties once again. By Tuesday afternoon, a cold front will slip through the area. There is a very small chance for scattered storms.
Wednesday looks nice, with low humidity and highs in the low eighties.
By Thursday night and into Friday, a stronger cold front will come through the area increasing our chances for scattered strong to severe storms. It all depends on the speed and timing of the cold front.
As of now, Mother's Day weekend looks gorgeous with unseasonably cool temperatures. Lows in the fifties with highs in the seventies!
Enjoy your day and the weather... It's the only weather you've got.
