Hot Weather, Heat Stroke

Not a lot of changes in our forecast as far as the temperatures go over the next several days. High temperatures will be in the low to mid nineties.

Today will be another warm day with highs in the 90s. Rain chances will increase tonight, mainly in the northwest. Lows will be in the 60s and 70s. #dfwwx #ctxwx #txwx pic.twitter.com/p028Lx4giC

What you will notice tomorrow through most of next week will be the higher humidity levels. Heat index values will be a few degrees hotter than the actual temperature. There will also be a lot more wind from the south to help cool you off in the shade. If you'll be working outdoors, drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks and don't forget the sunscreen!

Now, about the pattern change I've been talking about over the past few days…storms will form well to our northwest the next several evenings. The complex tonight should fall apart before it reaches Dallas and Fort Worth early tomorrow morning, but there is a small chance they could make it all away into north Texas before falling apart.

Hot and humid weather will continue with highs in the 90s and lows mainly in the 70s. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms across the northwest Friday night and Saturday night . #dfwwx #ctxwx #txwx pic.twitter.com/YKVieMYMaU

A slightly better chance of these towards making it into our area both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Nothing severe expected, but any rain will be welcome right now. We have only measured a trace of precipitation for the entire month!

Storm chances return Next Tuesday through Thursday as well.
