No drought to worry about across north Texas, as we've seen a LOT of rain to start 2020.
As of this morning, we are sitting pretty in DFW with a 4" surplus. And guess what? MORE RAIN is in your 7-day forecast.
Morning showers, afternoon showers is your weather story today. It'll also be VERY mild today. A bit cooler weather moves in tomorrow, as a weak front eases through the area late tonight. This will drop temperatures a bit tomorrow.

There is a slight chance for a few isolated severe storms by tomorrow evening just north of DFW. Hail and wind will be the main threats.
Our next weather change arrives early Friday in the form of a cold front. This front will drop high temperatures a good 20 degrees. Besides the cooler temperatures, a strong upper low will spread moisture up and over the colder/shallow air mass. Widespread rain will fall across all of north Texas late Friday into Saturday. Another storm system may bring another bout of rain by late Sunday into NEXT Monday.
