No snow today, some sleet may be mixing in. Why you ask?

Snow is falling above that level, but is melting as it reaches that level. So no snow this morning.
There has been some sleet mixing in North of Dallas and Fort Worth this morning, a thin subfreezing layer between 1200ft and 1800ft is causing the melted snow (cold rain) to refreeze (sleet) in this thin cold layer before it hits the ground, but temps at ground level are in the mid 30s, so no freezing rain (rain that freezes on contact with the ground) equals no road problems.
Rain will move out late morning into early afternoon. We may even see the sun before the day is done, but it will remain chilly.
A light freeze expected tomorrow morning with slowly warming temperatures though the rest of the week.
